Cranford ((アイルランド語:Cluan GlasCreamhghort), meaning "field of wild garlic") is a small village located in northeast Donegal, Ireland. It is situated on the western banks of Mulroy Bay on the road between two larger villages, approximately 7.9 kilometres north of Milford and 7.9 kilometres south of Carrigart. It looks almost directly at Kerrykeel across the water. The townlands of Drimicallady, Coole, The Bogue, Woodquarter, The pans, and Seantullagh also fall within Cranfords borders.
==Sport==
The community centre hosts the annual Cranford indoor football competition which is usually held in January/February/March (depending on what time Easter is that year). Local 5 aside football teams from the surrounding area enter the competition in the various different categories, these include U-17's, Seniors, Ladies and Over 35's.
It is also home to the Cranford Athletics club which was founded in 1962. The Athletic clubs enters athletes in a variety of competitions every year. The club runs the annual Bill Hunter memorial race on Boxing day every year.
Cranford has two teams in the Donegal junior league . The Cranford Sunday team and the Cranford Saturday team.〔http://www.donegaljuniorleague.ie/〕 TD Joe McHugh played in centre midfield for the Cranford Saturday team. Cranford United play their home games in Cranford park which was originally opened by the famous Irish and Leeds united player Johnny Giles.
